VOA Albanian

The Albanian Service began the first broatcasts on May 13, 1943.  They were discontinued in 1945 and then reestablished on May 13, 1951 and have continued uninterrupted since. VOA Albanian is the leading international broadcaster in the target area, and plays an important role as an unbiased, balanced and trusted source of information. The Service is unique in its ability to provide the audience with a program that covers news in the entire Balkan region.
